On Campground of the Week #2, our Midwest Correspondent Kerri Cox is reviewing the St. Louis West/Historic Route 66 KOA, located just 30 minutes outside of St. Louis, Missouri.
This private campground has all of the family-friendly amenities and activities you expect from a KOA, including Check out the Lone Elk park right near the campground to see elk and bison up close.
Kerri highly recommends visiting Forest Park in St. Louis, full of museums and zoos…all of which are free! You will also want to ride to the top of the Gateway Arch.
Kerri’s favorite place in all of St. Louis is the City Museum, which sounds kind of dull but in fact is one of the most creative and exciting urban spaces you will ever come across.
Have you ever stayed at the St. Louis West/Historic Route 66 KOA? Planning on visiting in the future? Do you have addition St. Louis attractions that you would recommend? Leave a comment below!
