Campground #3: Baraboo Hills Campground, Wisconsin Dells

On Campground of the Week #3, our Upper Midwest correspondents Melissa and Matthew Kellas are reviewing Baraboo Hills Campground in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Baraboo Hills Campground, Wisconsin

This private family-friendly campground is about 20 minutes outside of Wisconsin Dells and less than one hour’s drive from downtown Madison.

Listen to hear Melissa and Matt talk about the fun and engaging activities available at the campground. They will discuss amenities, best sites, and the pros and cons of the activity bracelet, available for an extra charge.

Wisconsin Dells is known as the “Waterpark Capital of the World” and is now a year-round destination. It is also located in a gorgeous natural environment, so Melissa and Matt recommend the Lost Canyon Tours and Devil’s Lake State Park. If you are feeling a bit more touristy, check out the Duck Tours and Ripley’s Believe it or Not.
