Crossing Creeks RV Resort and Spa is located in the beautiful northeast region of Georgia. It’s a wonderful example of the latest trend in the industry: campgrounds that actually offer the guest experience and level of amenities that are found in true resorts. From fiber optic high speed internet to yoga classes and massage rooms, this is the RV resort of the future.
Casita Dean and his lovely wife Laura recently spent a long weekend at Crossing Creeks, and he shares all the details of their stay in this Campground of the Week review.
Before diving into the details, we want to note an important policy. Like many of these new RV resorts, Crossing Creeks sells RV sites and cabin sites to individual owners. These owners are then welcome to rent out their sites to recreational campers. There are rig standards for visitors, though, so double check to make sure your RV fits the requirements before booking.
Campground Details: Crossing Creeks RV Resort and Spa
Crossing Creeks contains 128 sites located on about 100 acres of property. The RV park is surrounded by the north Georgia mountains and nestled on the edge of historic Blairsville. The facilities are relatively new and completely immaculate. The landscaping is manicured and well-maintained.
The campground is open year round, and the rates vary depending on season. Winter offers the lowest prices, and fall has the highest, since this is peak season in the region. Prices also vary depending on whether you book a back-in, pull-thru, or creek-side site. In general, RV sites range from $60-$85/night. Cabins will run from $165-$175/night.
Amenities and Activities: Crossing Creeks RV Resort and Spa
Again, this RV resort and spa earns it’s name by offering amazing amenities to its guests. Dean loved hanging out at the clubhouse in the morning, enjoying coffee and donuts while chatting with the owners. There is also a spa and fitness center, a pool and jacuzzi, and a sauna and steam room. Other amenities include…
- Massage services
- Pitch and putt 9-hole course
- Pickle ball courts
- Pool table
- Poker table
There are plenty of organized activities to participate in, although most will be geared to the adult population that this campground attracts. Yoga and cardio classes are offered, along with shuffleboard, billiards, and poker tournaments. Guests will also find sewing and knitting classes, meet and greets, potlucks, and other community events
